Privacy

This covers the main site, anewworlds.com, itself. What each work collects and where it is stored is described in that work's own privacy policy, linked from its page.

While you browse, the main site records only two things. When a link carries a from parameter (for example, a link in a post on another platform), it adds one to the visit count for that source; only the total per source is kept, not who visited or from which device. The page language you choose is stored in a cookie named lang for one year, only so the site can show that language next time.

When you send a message from a work's feedback page, or from the site-wide feedback page at /support (about a work or the website itself), the main site stores it: the message itself, your email address if you leave one, the form's language, the time it was sent, the source, version, platform and work-defined reference carried in the work's link, and the general type of browser and operating system (for example, Safari / iOS, not the full browser identifier). IP addresses are not stored. Only the studio reads these, and your email address is used only to write back to you.

Apart from that, the main site collects nothing: no accounts, ads, analytics scripts or third-party code. Questions: hello@anewworlds.com.
