Brain Bloom Privacy Policy

Brain Bloom needs no account and no sign-in. It creates no identifier for you or your device.

Your progress (the levels you have cleared, your star and trophy records, the fragments and cards you have collected, and your language choice) is saved only on your own device: in the app's storage on iPhone, or in your browser's local storage when you play on the web at brain-bloom.anewworlds.com, the older address brainbloom-3gp.pages.dev, or itch.io. It is never uploaded. Deleting the app, or clearing the game's website data in your browser, erases it permanently, and we have no copy. Browsers can also clear it on their own: Safari on iPhone and iPad may do so after seven days without a visit unless the game has been added to the Home Screen, and inside itch.io's page Safari keeps it only until the browser is closed, so play there in fullscreen. The game asks for no permissions (no photos, location or contacts) and has no in-app purchases.

The only thing that leaves your device is a puzzle you choose to share. When you tap Share or Send to a friend, the puzzle itself (the starting board, the target picture and the move count; nothing about you) is sent to anewworlds.com to create a short link, and your device's share menu sends that link wherever you choose. Anyone with the link can open the puzzle. If the short link can't be created, the game shares a longer link that carries the puzzle inside the address instead, and nothing is sent.

The game contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, ours or anyone else's. The iPhone app is built with Capacitor, an open-source framework that runs on your device and sends nothing. The web version is hosted on Cloudflare, and share links and this page are served by the studio's server behind Cloudflare; like any web host, Cloudflare handles standard connection details such as your IP address, and the game's own code keeps no record of them.
